Will Sun

Will is a senior physics major with a strong interest in machine learning and quantum computing. In last year’s QC Hack, Will worked with Richard on drafting, debugging, and displaying a quantum oracle for determining legal positions in the Battleship board game. This culminated in a 2nd place finish among 78 teams, a presentation to the Microsoft Quantum team, and a blog post on the Microsoft Q# Developer Blog. Will is currently conducting his senior research on constructing quantum generative adversarial networks (QGANs) to generate multi-qubit states, hoping to generate more intricate images with significantly reduced parameter sets. In his free time, Will enjoys dancing with his friends in Rhythmic Blue and Danceworks, running to East Rock, and watching the latest movies and shows.
